When she bloomed

He liked her careless ways,
She didn't care what she wore,
Her laugh like a wind chime,
Her hitting and biting him,
His little girl

And then one day,
She began to dress up,
Blush quietly as she spoke,
Walked like a grown woman,

He was pleasantly surprised at how she had bloomed,
Only to realize, it wasn't for him.
